Navarro Treasure

Here is my latest treasure given to me from Donna Navarro. It is a check from April 9, 1966 written to Ed Winfiled from Barny Navarro and endorsed on the back by Ed.

 

That check looks like it was just written!

 

Too cool. I love how the address for the bank is just that-no zip code, no .com address. Those days are long gone aren't they?

I remember Counter checks at grocery store in Cheney, Ks from the Citizens State Bank.
1966 what a great year. Beatles, Mustangs, no worries.

 

Its cool having 2 hot rod pioneers on one check.

I had the pleasure of shaking His hand ,they were sooooo big you would have thought he never used a cam grinding machine. He was the best!
