I had to copy and post your bed picture here. It is WAY COOL!!!!! I can't believe you did all that bead rolling. How did I miss your build before today?

  4. Over the years, I've seen lots of neat car/truck related details, but this takes the cake! Very cool!

Edit; After close examination, I don't see a radiator, did I miss something, or did you? LOL

Is the whole thing bagged? I like the rear and might just have to borrow (ok, I mean steal) that idea for mine.

Absolutely amazing. You do know that the steering wheel is on the wrong side, don't you? LOL

  14. What size are your wheels, 19.5"? If so where did you get the white walls?

    Port-a-walls?

The flame work looks great, very impressive.

to answer a few questions, propane or LPG as it is called here is NZ$3.92 per US gallon and 98 octane petrol is NZ$8.76 per gallon. The tyres are 215.75.16 on the front and 215.85.16 on the rear. The whitewalls are flappers at the moment but I have ordered some "proper" whitewall tyres the same sizes through a company here in NZ that gets them made in the USA

OH and the hubcaps they clip onto the original dually plates with the countersunk stud holes that you put onto the wheel before fitting the nuts. They have two lugs on them so I just added two more. The Original style of hub cap only need the inner rim edge modified slightly so they knock on over the studs. There is however a 1 1/4"gap between the back of the hub cap and the wheel rim so I have made some polished stainless steel filler rings to fill the gap

spent the weekend fabricating the stainless steel cappings and rear channel for my truck bed. Finally got it all done and polished by 9pm last night (Sunday) and it is off to the paint shop at 8am in the morning.
What do you think of the '58 Belair tail lights ? good choice or not?

I really like the 58 taillights...so I say "good choice". They go very nice with the entire feel of the truck. The stainless looks great too, but can't say the same for that strange guy in the shorts (ha!). He keeps blocking the view of the truck. I was wondering, do you have a winch on your bed? Keep at it, the work is fantastic.
