I will have to find a picture but I had a short wheel base altered ... ' 32 Bantam bodied , blown injected alky 512 BBC .. Named " Suicide Solution " ....
...here's a couple sketches I drew up in the last few weeks...and I always liked "fist full of dollars"
The name came about on this one because, When I got the car it had no grill..An come to find out 62 Falcon grill's Ain't cheap if you Can find one used, I said screw it, someone did the wheelwells out of 1/2 conduit, Why not a "tube" grill? So I start thinking it's taking a "Spanish" theme on that note...Hence "Dirty Sanchez", I sold it, Before I could get to it..But the guy I sold it to just mite campaign it as such. And it was also my first attempt at gold leaf
The Auzzies will like this. While living in Manely we built a Ford Angela gasser and named it the "Bandicoot" Eats Roots shoots and leaves.
My husband's Funny Car back in the day. Super Brat My Funny Car. Family Venture We are actually on the road to pickup our first race car in many years. It is a dragster. We were talking about names and found this thread. Still trying to come up with one. We've enjoyed the thread and know many of the racers listed here. Not many will remember me but nearly everyone in the Southeast knows my husband, Monty Todd.
My 40 will be 60's drag inspired, cant see it being that quick tho, so I'm thinking about calling it 'Slow motion'...
There was a ‘55 Chevy 150 in my neighborhood that ran gas class. Rectangular tube frame from the firewall forward with a tube axle and it ran a Hilborn stack injected 426 hemi. It had a perfect body that the owner painted black and lettered on the quarter panels was My Baby Is Black. I think the name came from the title of a ‘50’s B movie. Running at US 30 the brothers in the stands loved it, I can still remember them calling out when it was seen in the staging lanes, “Here come the Black!” There was a matching tow car too, also black and it ran the stroked Pontiac 389/dual quad/4 spd that was in the race car before the hemi.
My Willy's nosed Plymouth coupe was called Faded Memories. I co-owned a G/Gas Firebird called Wildfire. I crewed on an Alky Funny car called Tequila Sunrise.
I have a set of heads that were run on the Obsolete Missile 63 Impala. Not sure I have found all the power in them or not.
