Just wanted to drop in and say hello. I have been looking into this forum ever since I started to get the itch for building a good old fashioned traditional hot rod. I started a build up of a 62 nova for my 4yr old boy. The car has a 350 w/700r4 ******, air-ride suspension, you know, the high tech stuff that costs a lot. Well I needed it into one color after the bodywork was done so I painted it a flat black. Since then, I got the itch to do a "traditonal rod". Low cost, rugged, just the bare essentials. A couple of the guys in a local car club are into this style and it really got me to thinks about the fun of having hot rods, the injinuity and pride of building a cool car. So that's why I am here. I have a 30 some chevy 1-1/2 ton cab that is going to be put to use for a hot rod. And hopefully with all the knowledge and help from all of you, It can be built the right way and with pride.

    Thanks

    James
