Hot Rods Nebraska to New York...any Hambers Around?

So here's the deal. I'm in from the Omaha/Lincoln area of Nebraska and am interning in New York City for 6 months. Back home I'm in the middle of building a 27 T and am starting to go through withdraw from not being around hot rods or cars in general.

I'm sure hot rod culture exists in the northeast, can anyone point me in the right direction. Like I said I'll be here until December, but I'm without a car which makes it worse. Any local Hambers around?
