Hello everbody. I guess I gotta introduce myself here before I start asking dumb questions. I live in san francisco, wheree it's damn hard to find a garage to work in. My neighbors love the fact that I'm pounding smaller stuff together in my apartment. Angle grinder runs on the same extension cord as the tv, for example. . Anyway, I guess I've always been "in to" this sort of thing - just never really had the time, space or money to get started. Now that I've got 1 and a half out of three I'm just gonna go for it. I'm not getting any younger and I'd rather die impaled on a solid steering column than behind a desk with 5 coffee-breathed nerds hovering over my convulsing body fighting over who gets my chair. But hey, that's me. so i look forward to all this fun and learning i'm gonna have, and finally I can post all those smart remarks I've got stored up.

hey how are ya? I'm in the inner richmond, sorta near the park. But I'm looking at Oakland right now - a little more room to make a mess out thataway. Thinking about it I've probably seen lots of people from the hamb at alameda or pleasanton or turlock... nobody looks like their cartoon pictures in real life. . .
