I don't think I have met John, but I am terrrible, awful and worse than that with names . If you link him up with what he drives or does, I can remember people that way.

I ***ume you ask because he is skilled with carbs, IE tone of this thread? I have talked with a couple guys around here that specialize in carbs, but none of them play with Strombergs, all they tell me.... just Holleys.....

    Thanks

61cad, I'll be running that same setup except with 94's. Wonder if you would take my intake plus cash so that I don't have to bother rebuilding all my carbs hahah!!!

Offenhauser still makes them. Speedway has a version also.

Here's some random shots of my 4X2 set up. I'm using an Offy Intake with 2" Offy spacers, Rochester 2GVs & EELCO linkage. Running on a GM Performance SBC crate motor. All parts available off-t******lf.

4 deuces - Very cool. The 4 inline - are the adapters Vintage Speed?
The 4 square set up - where did you get the adapters? Do the upper adapters eventually connect to 2 barrel adapter on the manifold?
    Thank you,

Duane - very cool intakes. Not sure why my computer started printing this way? Must have hit something. Will figure it out later. I have a Ford 429 project. I have a 69 429 ThunderJet engine - 10 1/2 comp - 360 hp - 480 trq - small cam. I would like to put on a 4 x 2 intake. either option you show (square or inline would work for me) although the linkage for the square looks a little intimidating. how tall are the square adapters? Do you make the adapters? I have a couple of options for 2 x 4 intake manifolds. What carb spacing is needed?
    Ah - found my
    problem.
    Thank you,
    SD
