Need some help, what is the height measurement of a '30-'31 coupe firewall. If the body is setting on the ground, what is the distance to the top of the cowl (where the hood would rest)?
With the body sitting on the frame, I put a level across the radiator support rods and measured from the frame rail up and measured 27 1/2". Hope this helps.
That dimention will be the same on all 30-31 body styles. I just measured a stock 30 roadster cowl, sitting on the floor WITHOUT a gastank the center of the firewall is 27 1/2 high. Happy New Year!
