Was told that it should just bolt on. Anyone know where to find one. Putting on a new 390 CFM Holley, but have the V8 linkage for the p***enger side. HELP!!

Did you try turning the carb backwards? Is seemns to me that I heard is the thing to do with a Holley on a flathead.

I'm the one who suggested that sbhsfishman use a 6-cylinder linkage for this conversion, but have since heard from many on the main board that turning the Holley around so that the linkage is on the p***enger side is the "old school" way of getting it done.

Anybody got any photos of a reversed Holley w/ p***enger-side-linkage to share? I'd like to have my mind changed if this is a better way to go! I'm always ready to be updated on better ways of doing things.

In the meantime, I've got a modified V8 linkage that was on my '52 Vicky when I got it. I'll try to dig it out today and photograph it. Perhaps it will give you ideas.

I know where a 52 with a 6 is in a local junkyard if you still need the part

Since there are plenty of generic "Lokar" cables around it would be real EZ to go that route instead of messing with salvage parts, and probably safer too.
