Need a part number defined please...

    8M-1613 would be, interpolating from an earlier catalog, a left rear fender for a '49 Merc and whatever later Mercs use same fender, presumably 1950.
    I don't have a merc catalog for these late models, so can't say what that really means--the removable part or the quarter panel?? The B is a variatiable of some sort, probably designating which body style. There, a semi-informed guesstimate. I don't know how "variable" came out as "variatable", but I think I prefer it thus now.

    Ah, here in the footnotes--the "B" indicates this is the "Gay" variant...

    Must be a 4dr, My # is 9CM72 for a coupe......OLDBEET
