Most of my inside decklid has been cut out and I am trying to install a lock and handle. Can someone please post of pic that will show me how the lock is attached? Thanks, Kathy
Kathy, Mine are rumble seat also but the idea is the same. There is a screw on either side of the hook that holds it closed. That and the nut on the end of the shaft is all there is. I would be glad to take pics of the rumble version. Its exactly the same except the thickness of the lid.
There was a good pic thread on the same problem within the last 6 months... maybe a search could find it... if you can get lucky with the right words. It showed the recess in the lower inside skin where the latch fits. I should have saved that thread because mine was cut out there. But since I don't buy new parts, I will fit some other latch in there and build to suit.
