There was a black chevy crewcab dually in the DUB booth at SEMA with a 62 impala dash and semi truck wheels, did anybody here go and did anybody get a pick. The plates on the truck said "mext up"

    Marty-
That truck is running wheel adapters and standard 22.5 Alcoa Big rig wheels. The wheels were standard small hole Alcoas that have had their design enlarged to a larger square cutout.

The adapters and wheels came from:
Truck Adaptor & Wheel Mfg. Corp.
    6420 Rupley Circle
    Houston, TX 77087
    1-800-500-0497

    on the web at www.chromewheel.com

This is the pricing and technicals page.
    http://www.chromewheel.com/dominator.htm

Running big rig rims has its advantages and disadvantages like anything. Advantage. Wheels will last forever and are cheap in comparison. Disadvantage tires are expensive. Neutral the hub adapters are expensive upfront but will last forever. Advantage, they look sick as hell rolling.

EDIT: I found out tonight that truck has the 24.5's not the 22.5's on it.

There is a full feature on this truck in the November issue of Street Trucks Magazine. Very nicely done.

I'll go against the grain here & say that thing is hideous. Great craftsmanship, no doubt- but I'd laugh at it if it pulled up next to me at the light.

But you know what they say about opinions............

  13. i like the interior job....and that's all i got to say about that....

I saw that sittin' outside the donut shop by my house a few months back.

    It does look good.

  16. Here's my useless pics of that truck. Opinions are like assholes, everybody has one and they usually stink. Personally, I thought the truck was very well executed and had alot of though put into it. The body work was flawless, along with the raised bed floor in wood.
