I was wondering if anyone has a picture of a 1929 Chev Panel. i have tried searching the net and nothing. The reason I need a pic is to get an idea how the side window area was covered so I can do mine some what close to orig. I know the Fords were steel laminated with wood in place of the window but I haven't seen a pic of a Chev. Any help would be appreciated For all I know it wasn't even close to what I'm building!!! Here is what I am thinking it may have looked like ( the raised body line around the panel)
http://www.carnut.com/photo/list/chev.html Go here, there's one under 28, 30 , 31, & 32. Check the other years, could be more.
Hey steel 29 the one they show in that site is a 29 body, and not a 28. Cause they did not make any 28 deliverys with the 28 body style. They were so late in the year and they wanted to be ahead of ford they sent them out with 29 bodys titled as 28 so chevrolet could get the designation of being the first to make the sedan deliverys...ghost Oh and by the way your car is looking good...
Hey man, try www.stovebolt.com They have a gallery for 1916-1935 chevy trucks and such. Might help you find some pictures. Good luck..
