My '32 5 window had a LeBaron Bonney upholstery installed when I purchased it. I sold that interior to a fellow HAMBer. Now I am looking for patterns to fabricate door and kick panels etc. Does anyone know of a source? Regards, Ron

Do you have the door and cowl? Can’t you make your own patterns from them? Might even be a better fit than someone else’s.

Did your car have trunk panels before? I dislike the way that trimmers do the trunk and turn it into a box reducing the capacity by about 25%. I guess I believe in being practical not pretty and I can get a lot of groceries in my 32 trunk. But we use our hot rods as dailies, not Coffee & Cruise cars. Talk to your trimmer about what he needs, mine likes 1/8" less so trim can wrap around the edges.

Have made and covered several of the trunk panels for my deuce roadsters to save money. Most of the time I have just used the same carpet as the interior and cut some rubber matting for the floor. I use large size butcher paper or sometimes I have large sheets of brown wrapping material to make the patterns. For the panels I like 1/8 inch Luan plywood. I've done a few complete interiors in my deuce's when I was pinched for cash. I had a good local upholstery shop that helped with the sewing for me.

Where did you source the rubber mat material?

I used cardboard. In the trunk you just make one pattern. Doors one pattern. Kick panel one pattern. I used 1/8 inch ABS black plastic panel.

Rubber mat from Antique Auto Restoration And Supply (I need to double check the name) I use the 1/8 inch thick mat with small pyramids in the surface. I've used it in several cars. I buy the 48th inch width. I will confirm the company name and part number in the morning,

If you make your own door cards, kick panel cards and those for beside and behind your seat you are not paying trimmers rates for him to do them. I even fitted the clips for my door cards. I used 1mm alloy sheet for mine, not affected by water and light as. As @nochop is doing his own t******* then he will save heaps and not end up in trimmers jail either. I lined the whole inside of the car, trunk included with an Aussie version of Dynamat before it went to the trimmer.

I guarantee those are coming from a supplier in the US, being shipped to Canada and then reshipped back down to you. Don't trust their dates either I am going through it with their Chevy division trying to get parts.

My local gl*** shop buys 4' x 8' sheets of corrugated for patterns. I buy a couple sheets and make my own patterns. Very easy. My upholsterer uses mine to do my cars

Found this at Lowe’s for my 32 Tudor. Around $60. Nice pebble grain and heavy duty.

Found this at Lowe’s for my 32 Tudor. Around $50. Nice pebble grain and heavy duty. The one roll did the whole sedan floor with some left over. Using it in my roadster.
