I am in the process of working on a 1934 Ford 5 window coupe. I would like to put the body(without the frame) on a rotisserie. I do not have any experience working with rotisseries and would like to avoid any OOPS. It would seem that the front attachment points would be directly under the part of the body where the front of the body is bolted to the frame. I would like any advice on attachment points for the rear of the body. Any suggestions or pictures will be greatly appreciated. Thanks....
Is there anyone that has put a 1933 or 1934 Ford coupe on a rotisserie? Any pictures or advice will be greatly appreciated.
The early body's need a frame for support and those cars are bit top heavy. It would take a bit to get it mounted. some tall jack stands work great. the main thing is to have a the frame under the car and the frame straight and repaired. and the jack stand or the car resting on the suspension points. even a full boxed frame will twist if the jack stand are off set. just my two cents i would like to see some photos of an early car on a rotisserie I have flipped some upside down to work on the sub frame ,helps to have some friends with strong backs.
