I stayed in the 57 Chevy wagon motel last year one block from the Continental Club. It worked jes fine.
manyol... i'd do the same but i'm bringing my 67 year old dad who's idea of camping is the 4 seasons JEEZ thanks for the info buzzard!!
For some of ya'll that are looking for cheaper instead of nicer, the Cl***ic Inn may be a good choice. It's about 3 miles down Congress Ave from the Continental Club. Rooms are $40 for 1 bed and $45 for 2 beds. It's not someplace I'd bring my wife on vacation, but I'd crash there with a couple of buddies at a car show. As a big plus to me, if you ask for a bungalow, you get covered parking. It's a little garage without a door, right next to the room. Also, it's right next door to Hill's Cafe. hey alleycat - it's been sitting in the garage sad and lonely... i'm saving my pennies for a frame - got a couple of holly 94's - looking for an intake....I think we should all be born with a trust fund.... it would make things happen so much faster ....look forward to meeting some more HAMB folks at the roundup
