Need an I.D. for this part

  1. Anyone know what this ansen master cyl. adapter will fit. I found it in my pile.

    I believe it is a bolt on maser cylinder mount that bolts to the bottom of the cross member with the M/Cyl facing the rear of the car.
     
  3. Tommy, Do you think it is year specific or a universal mount.

    I think it will prove to be year specific. Ansen made bolt-on kits for '28--38 Fords, with rigs to attach MC into stock pedal or its linkage. Some moved MC to right side, worked off of crosshaft. Ads and catalogs I have just list the years, don't show detail or variants. If you ordered the complete kit, you exchanged your backing plates...Ansen didn't use Ford hydraulics, they added wheel cylinders to re-oriented stock backing plates of whatever type the car came with!

    Probably not 32 but it could probably be re-drilled for most anything.
