need bonneville pix for art project....

i had this great idea to paint something on an old car door, after climbing down an old river bank and finding a 40 ish merc four door i went to work trying to get that said door from under the hundreds of pounds of dirt.

to many rounded off rusty bolts and i just ripped the whole door off, arrr arrr arrr

anyways i want to paint some sort of bonniville scene on it, like a couple of hot rods blasting across the salt with dust billowing or somthing cool like that

any one have any pix?

There is no dust on the salt and they run one at a time.
Lots of dust on the dry lakes, but they also run 1 at a time.

 

i was kind of asociating the lakes and the salt together, i wasnt realy looking for actual runs just cars on the salt ect

That's my camera and arm in that pic I think. I missed the shot. Right there is where my memory card filled up. I was going thru and deleting unwanted pics to make room for more when we were A-SALT-ed!

Yup... I bought two 256k cards to make damn sure that didn't happen. I got about 30 pics of***** doing his thing... too bad I didn't think to shoot a movie instead...

 

Sorry guys I never intended to a-salt anybody. But that looks like me when the throttle must have stuck just long enough to spin the tires slightly
