Technical need brake and steering box id help!

    My 66 Fairlane had a solid shaft with tube column and no rag joint. I believe in 67 both Mustangs and Fairlanes went to a separate column with a splined output shaft (3/4" 36) in either 16:1 or 20:1 ratio. As stated it appears pinned with the outer tube removed?. Personally I would DD the shaft if not splined rather than pinning it, I'm just used to our tougher rules down here. Better clamping force with a DD than a pin.
