Just bought a 64 Cadillac with a 429 and a Carter AFB. Having problems with idle, stumble on acceleration, all kinds of stuff. I have been through the service manual, all through the internet, and tried my own ideas. Can't seem to get it to run right for the life of me. I need to step out and pay someone who is familiar fix it.

So far I have rebuilt carb to service manual spec and all inside adjustments were made with digital calipers so I know they are correct. I have replaced plugs, wires, points, fuel filter, air filter, set timing, and replaced all known vacuum hoses that were leaking. I had a fuel line rubbing the oil pan, temporarily moved it down because i thought maybe the fuel was heating up and vaporizing before it could get to carb. I may go on and replace coil and condenser just to rule it out, though this seems like a fuel issue.

Know of anyone that would be willing to help? Thanks
