need disk brakes 53 chev?

im looking to pute disk brakes on my 53 chevy belair and i dont have a problim in the front. but speedway tells me they dont have A rear kit that doesnt take a 16 inch wheel. i dont want to run a 16 inch wheel i allready have 15s and would like to keep them. does any one know where i can get a bolt on kit for the rear. im running a 10 bolt rear off 69 camerro. anny info is apreciated thanks

 

find a rearend out of a newer firebird or a 4wd s10 blazer with disks may be the easiest. Check the trackwidth before you get a rearend though. as for a bolt on kit that lets you keep your 15 inch wheels I am no help.

 

disc brakes in the rear are a big waste of money...85% of your braking power is on the front.
