So, my 3/4 ton p.u. truck TH 350 trans lost high and reverse, again. Picked up a remanned TH 400 to swap in and be done with it, hopefully for good. But, the truck has a 2 piece driveline, and will either need to be lenthened, or swapped out to a single shaft made to fit. Which is better, easier, cheaper? Thanks. Butch/56sedandelivery.

Hey Butch! If the truck is a long bed, you will probably still need to run the split drive shaft. A single shaft that long really isn't a good idea in my experience. I'd keep the split shaft and have it modified as needed.
    My 2 cents

Yeah, I figured as much. I just thought it would be easier/simpler; the KISS principal. But, nothing is ever easier/simpler is it? Butch/56sedandelivery.
