Hey guys, anyone coming to the show that can bring a 12v gen. I understand the 6v armatures are the same so that could work too. Or anyone know any good shops in Las Vegas that could rebuild it tomorrow or monday the latest? I cant really use the internet a lot so call me if you can help at (310)384-7296 I already tried NAPA and no luck, thanks in advance

Just want to thank everyone that replied. I did go to that guy clarence just behind the gold coast. He was a real cool old man, probably about 80 years old with lots of stories. He rebuilt it for me on saturday while I waited. I missed a little bit of the carshow, but at least I got it taken care of and i made it back without having to get dragged home!
Glad to hear that he could help you. Clarence is a great guy who is incredibly knowledgeable and talented when it comes to starters, alternators and generators. I had a shop across from him for 3 years, so I got to know him very well. I'd recommend that shop to anybody, even if you're not local. BTW, he's an old hot rodder that grew up in Bell, CA. Too bad he never took any pics, but great stories!
Yeah, he was telling me how he used to hang out at the Santa Ana drags and a roadster he bought in the 40's.
