Can anyone tell from the picture if this is worth fixing. Appears to have been a repair made in the #6 hole intake to cylinder. The rest of the block seems real good but I wonder should I spend the money now to have it tanked and cleaned before I proceed or find another block. This is a 52-53 EAB block. Thanks

  2. Almost anything is worth fixing cept pan rail cracks and cracks in middle main webbing

  3. Mine has a crack from #6 intake to cylinder, and causes no problems at all. I think this is a somewhat common fault.
