need forum IT help

This morning I clicked on an users profile. When I attempted to press the back button, I hit something else. This downsized the viewing area of all pages. I have a large beige border around the screen. Also, I can no longer view pictures, I see a blank white whpot with attached thumbnails in blue, but the patch is not active. Somebody surely has a patch for this.
