I have a 54 chevy belair and going to do a MII & airbag setup. Do I need the inner fender wells or can I take them off?

I would think it would look silly with them missing, not to mention if you ever drive in water you'll have a mess under the hood.

Def keep em...you just need to remove some material where the top hats and a-arms come thru.

Keep your inner fenders. It looks like **** if you don't have them. Plus road grime will get all over everything in the rain.

I didn't have any on mine when I got the car, but when I re-wired it there was no good way to route/protect all of the wires going up front for the lights and fans. I ended up making my own, but wish I had a set of the originals which aren't that easy to find.

Thanks for all of the responses to my need for inner fenders. I've searched here for them often, but haven't seen many for sale. Guess I didn't try hard enough! I'll be in touch.
