yea I hear you stimpy. i didn't want to sound arrogant or ****y but i just showed what i know so he doesnt make that ***umption again. I don't get mad or offended, I know what im capable of. but sometimes its irritating. a year ago my little brother wanted a car to play with but I knew he couldn't handle yet a cl***ic car with both the knowledge of one and the money to restore one so I decided to get him a running car that wont need a restoration just put rims on it and sound system and go. long story short some guy comes to my house in a 83 cutl*** supreme for sale and doesn't agree with me about the grille it had on it was replaced with a newer year and tells me "hey dude, do you know anything about cl***ic cars or lowriders?". i told him look over that brick wall, tell me what you think. he didn't say much after that =b thanks for the info, im going to check those places out i need to look into getting those bearings sealed, the more i hear about how important that is and what can go wrong the more im concerned and want to get it right thanks
yea i did thank god. and good idea on how to get them to size the bearings for me when i go look them up. ****s about your front drum issue, but hope you got the issue resolved after this i know how frustrating it can be to feel stuck in a spot and not move forward
yea nash, i know. but i let someone borrow my jackstands and he lost them. i have some big bricks there incase it drops, wont exactly keep me safe but wont kill me either ill just be bruised pretty bad or broken ribs but wont crush me. i would just worry when im banging on something down there, i know its just an o ring keeping it up but i try not to think about it =b luckily yesterday was the last day i had to be down there with the car up on the jack. any work i do now down there after is done on car ramps with the wheels on like redoing the underside or oil changes =) one car i will never get under is my 65 when its locked up high on the hydraulics. ive had the o rings in the cylinders go out both sides at the same time and the car slammed down so hard the floor shook, the weight of the car, and about 600 pounds of big rig batteries, metal rack and hydraulic pumps made the slam felt inside the house we all felt it in our feet that's how i knew it fell. and theres only 1 inch clearance from the frame to the floor =O but for now im done under the car with the wheels off, now its all car ramp work thanks =)
