access the file photo in your computer
(I go straight to my camera)

don't hit the quick reply ****on - use the "post reply" ****on on the left of the screen. Down below the window that you type in there's a manage attachments ****on. You can search and upload from your computer there.

 

^^ Easiest way and they won't disappear later.

Exactly right. The big pics are great, but if they get moved, deleted or renamed on your image host they'll disappear from the thread. I'm a little concerned about some of our awesome threads such as the "1940s period correct hot rods" thread that erlomd started. Pages and pages of big photos...but some of 'em are already disappearing.
