I ran a search but couldn't find an answer to my problem. I have a Superbell 4" drop I beam with P&J 4 bar and unisteer cross steer. I just changed the passenger side tie rod end to the jeep style one that attaches the drag link to the tie rod instead of the steering arm trying to improve the turn radius. The steering is 100% better but my problem now is that the tie rod ends twist making the end of the drag link 'sag' and just barely touch the lower 4 bar. Is there some way of limiting that movement or is it just something I have to live with?
Nothing you can really do to stop the tie rod ends rotating if they want to. You might try rotating the tierod up slightly so the rod ends run out of twist before the drag link hits. This will affect your toe setting slightly.
