need help finding a hot rod mag from 51'

I am looking for a issue of hot rod mag from 1951 with purple 27 roadster on a deuce frame. its in the centerfold. if anyone has this magazine and would like to part with it. im looking for it for a friend who owned that car when it was in the magazine . he would like to find it.

Im not 100% on the hot rod mag, it might be rod and custom or something else, but im pretty sure it was hot rod.

 

Keep an eye on Ebay. There are always a ton of vintage Hot Rod Magazines on there, all the way back to '48. I'm sure one will show up.

 

You stated "a hot rod mag", I can only tell you that, "HOT ROD" magazines first color cover is April 1951. There is not a purple 27 on a deuce frame on any of the 1951 covers. Maybe HOPUP?
