My point was Hot Rods and Street rods are not the same thing, if you want a street rod build a street rod, I have all the respect in the world for anyone who builds a car no matter what it is or if it is a style I don't care for.

What I don't care for or have respect for are people who pass their own options off as facts refuse to learn or admit when they are incorrect even when confronted with facts from multiple sources and people.
As you did in my What's the future of hot rodding? Returning to what started it, RACING!!! thread. Where after enough people provided proof, your options were incorrect you deleted them, of course you were quoted enough times many your options are still there.

Also, as you did in my Steel Wheels thread were you even tried to argue that hot rods never were in magazines without hub caps then provided with proof tried to claim that wasn't what you said.

Part of my point all of my life both involved racing and hot rodding this isn't just a hobby or a passing trend, it's my life, and when you bash and insult not just stock cars but all of oval track racing as you did in my hot rod/racing thread you are insulting myself, my family and our history!

literary going races hot rod events/swap meet, buying /selling vintage parts and making friends all over the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, with several in the Binghamton area.

Which begs the question Binghamton/Chenango Forks is only about an hour and half west of me and yet we never crossed paths until you joined the H.A.M.B.?

These two cars were built by to very goods Doug Anderson's (from Sidney) Boogie Woogie Model A.

Doug was a great guy and a huge inspersion to me

Pete Flaven from Boston bulit this 30 Chevy about 25 years ago.
Now if you want to talk building let's talk building...

My car which is hand built in my garage.

    Geez Robert, get over yourself!
I deleted those posts because you were turning the thread into a pissing match...just like you're trying to do again. It's not what the HAMB is about.

Look, you didn't become an accomplished welder/fabricator just by researching, reading books, pictures, talking to people or making friends...it's from years of experience and practice.
The same goes for this hobby...get a few hot rod builds under your belt before you go around acting like "the expert".

As far us never meeting...with the 100s of shows I've participated in (with a car) over the years (including 2 shows I have run for 20+ years), if you were there, you were just one of 10s of thousands of faceless non-participant spectators that walked by.

Hot Rod is a highly subjective term.
There are no facts, only interpretations.
