When I built my 26 modified years and years ago I used stainless hardware for the hinge hardware. I found the special stainless washers from Lang’s T parts but cannot find the stainless bolts that screw into the door and A piller. Someone help me out.

I just did the install of these this winter on a 27 touring. I bought the proper size countersunk slotted machine screws in stainless from McMaster Carr. I also bought stainless flat washers and used one of the screws and a socket to press the countersink into them.

For hinge pins I bought 5/16” (I think) stainless bolts, rounded the heads off in my vertical lathe, and drilled the hinges to match. I’ll probably put a couple punch******s just under the head before final installation to hold them tight.
