I bought a F350 in the UK some time ago. when I tryed to registered it here in the netherlands they( our DVLA) found a typo in the UK papers. I contacted the DVLA but I need a UK adres to be able to corect the paperwork. The seller of the F350 don;t awnser my calls or Email's If I'm not able to corect the papers I can scrap the F350. PLEASE help remco
Careful. You can't "pretend" the pickup is in the UK, cos if you do they will prosecute the British "owner" for not having declared it on SORN (Staturatory Off Road Notification). British V5Cs are notoriously unreliable and most are wrong. What is the nature of the typo? If it's clearly an error then a Datenblatt from the deutschen TÜV for instance may clear up the confusion. And don't panic. You won't have to scrap it. You could try registering it in Germany first. If you've got the Zollpapiere you can register it in Germany even if you've lost the title. Transfering it to Holland afterwards would be a breeze because you'd then have German papers. And don't forget they can't legally refuse you registration. Any car registered in any member state of the EU has to be accepted in any other member state. Right I'm off to the TÜV now to register my English London taxi here in Germany. Ed
