Don't let these restorer types change your original vision. Also, building the stock frame is traditional....hahahah

Woodman, let me give you some real advice here. I've read all your posts, its clear you don't know much about building a car, DON'T chop it, DON'T channel it, you don't have the experience, you'll be overwhelmed and run away. Lots of good advice here, take what you have, assess it, get it running, change the wheels, make it safe and drive it till you gain some confidence, I'm 65, been building cars a long time, seen lots of first timers quit, don't want to see you do that, take it slow, baby steps. Good on ya for asking us, if I were closer, I'd give you a hand.

Man! What a great coupe body to start with. Lots of great advice given already. I'm with Trolls T on the Chop and Channel. Either wait on that or have someone that really knows what they are doing help you through it if you do. But first you've got plenty of work getting it disassembled, sorted, the old rotted interior out, gathering parts etc... keep us posted. If there is anything you are unsure of , there is an unbelievable amount of knowledge here don't be afraid to ask someone. In the long run, its much easier and faster to get one done when you take your time and do it right the first go around.

  6. Not yet, I’m slow playing this big time right now. Got lots going on during the week and it’s even busier when weather is good. Rain coming in this weekend though which I’m actually a little excited about so I can start taking some of the car apart
