I need to get races, bearings and seals (if there even are seals for these) for my front end...if you know precisely what these parts are, I'll be grateful. I'm not sure what these parts came off of.

    Thanks

  2. How about a couple of pictures and maybe someone can identify your parts? You must have a cell phone.

I’m no expert, but look like ‘40-‘42 Ford.

    Thanks!
So, I should buy inner/outer bearings and races for a 1940 Ford p***enger car...is there an inner seal on those?

The same bearings fit Ford p***enger cars from 28-48, and the seals are the same from 37-48.

I got these numbers from an old thread. Is Timken not a thing anymore? They don't sell Timken brand at any of the major parts retailers any longer and these bearings are $30+ each online.
Does anyone recommend other brands that are more readily available and less expensive?

    1928-1948 Front outer bearing #09074
    1928-1948 Front outer race #09196
    1928-1948 Front inner bearing #15118
    1928-1948 Front inner race #15250X
    1935-1948 Front wheel seal #5796

Speedway motors sells an entire set, bearings, races and seals for just under $100 - I'm ***uming that's Chinese garbage though?

No listing for Timken currently; but National work and are better than a plastic bag full of mystery bearings from Speedway.

I do have to say; we have put on quite a few Speedway brake kits with their generic bearings and haven't heard of a problem.

Vanpelt sales has them listed, Mac doesn’t sell junk and can tell you where the bearings are from.

    National bearings are just fine.
