Nice intro....maybe do one & people will take notice. READ THIS Lose the rat rod references & you will get a lot further on this site. Cool looking car, but looks newer
Pretty standard, Poncho tail lights, seat looks to be from the hide of the "Great American Nauga" in the pic. Hard to tell but the seat color's about right. Single (Mustang?) master cylinder and that steering box says pre 70's build. Headlight stands and bar are ok but the headlights surprise me for a 60's bucket. Engine is detailed but mount isn't even painted. Same for the paint. Flat black T-buckets and fairly flat stance and low bed are pretty much a modern thing. In the 60's buckets were flashy as possible. Nitro laquer, not flat black. Hairpins rather than split rods. That's more 50's style. Nothing I can see newer than 70 on the car, and yet... Could have been built in 1965 or 2005. More likely 2005. Still like to have it. Love the hubcaps.
Some of the clues look like 60's/70's - Ross steering, fruit jar master on the firewall, motor mounts etc. I reckon the flat black was done much more recently to an old build.
hard too tell all i know the car was in a private collection in utah since 1981 and was seized by us marshals and auctioned(have paper work),the body is 1 of the early release 61-62 fiberglass ,all hand laid, steeldash all hand formed sheet metal on bottom of cowl and firewall, the interior is 1/4 thick saddle leather,im looking back in hr mags, according too the maintance person of the collection it was a feature car in the mid 60s and b-4 we could get more info from him the us marshalls booted everyone off the property after auction was over. ill keep tryin, someone gotta know this car
I'm pretty sure I HAVE seen this in a Hot Rod or Car craft mag. years ago. Not sure. Looks nice to me, for whenever it was built!

Yea I recognize that car. Its Jasper of the Macminville Jaspers. Not to be confused with the Banks Jaspers by no means they was all related to the Dodge bros, of the Vernonia Dodges. Never the seen the car that I recall but I have now seen pictures of it ans truley wish I could get a much closer look at it. Very nice little car.
