I found this at a swap meet and I was looking for an interesting piece to make a shelf out of, when I started cleaning it up it looks more hand made than m*** produced. Any info on this would be great, would like to know what it might have gone to and if there is any use for it today or am I better to repurpose it

    Thanks,
    Ryan

  2. Can't guess what it fits but you hit the nail on the head when you said looks homemade.

So is this something people look for when they are rebuilding a car from that time or should I continue on with my plans to repurpose it?

It's a neat part, some one obviously spent a lot of time making it, and if it works half decently, would be a great addition to someone's period correct hot rod. If it were me, I'd just put it on ebay...before cleaning it, of course.

    (oops! too late for that)

  7. The carbs are probably worth more than the intake. If someone is handy they would probably make their own, just like the guy that made that one.

    I'm moonstruck with this manifold!

Master plumber Cosmo Castorini said, "All New York plumbing is garbage. That's why I use only the best. Copper."...
Someone was 'runnin' copper', (that's what they say 'in the TRADE'.)
Cosmo's lady friend thought he was smart.

I'd say it can sit like that for a long time and not be hurt any.
