Most likely 53 - 54 chevy car on pickup axle and spindles …….. You should ask on the main page.

First guess would be truck, is the axle straight between the springs? Cars were not. If you can find a number on the spindle you should be able to identify it here- http://chevy.oldcarmanualproject.com/parts/1929_54/381.htm
Is that number in the last picture 3656872? If so it's 41-53 1/2 ton.

If I remember my Chevy stuff correctly they are Chevy truck from '47-'59 or so with '53-'54 chevy p***enger car brakes. In either case Speedway can help with disc brake kits along with a whole bunch of other companies as well.

Looks just like a 1949 chevy truck axle I used to have. The shock mounts and drag link bracket are custom.

I have the same get up. Those are early p***enger car brakes and backing plates. I can't raise my right hand as to the spindle origin, but I believe it is early PU.
