Need help identifying these wheels

    We just picked up this set of wheels today. The guy we got them from did not know what they were. They are truly vintage though, the F78/14 tires have as new tread but the sidewalls are dryrotted, too bad really.

    We have a lead that they may be Foresight Industries Indy mags. These are one piece wheels and very light.

    Can anyone confirm what they are?

    What is the bolt pattern? 4-1/2, 4-3/4, 5?
     
  3. Yep, that's what they look like. Popular in the early/mid 60s....

    Sold under the 'Foremost' brand IIRC...

    the wheel pictured in the link above is not the same as the pic posted by the OP.

    Look closely at the spokes. They both may be Foremost.....but variations of the theme, not the same version.

    The wheels are 1960's Indy Mag wheels.

    I'm sure El Bricolaje will agree with me they are aluminum.

    Those are way cool! Almost like the pin drive Shelby wheels.
