I've been hard at work on HOT ROD, and am putting together a photo list of Henry's cars. What car is this???
He and his brother bought this car to drive from New York to Iowa to attend the U of Iowa.

I'm not an expert on cars, so any help is welcome!!

I going to guess 1926 to 1928 Buick roadster.....not positive, but it sure looks close....

Do I win a set of HG Felson books ????

Hopefully a set will be available again someday.....hint hint...

Yes, they are going to be available!! If you want a postcard of the new cover, announcing the new release, send your address to me in a PM.
If we get a new set of all books, I'll deliver to Oberlin!!

Thank you Holly, I was a big fan of your Father"s books in Jr High, and I would like to have a collection for my 5 year old boy to read eventually. I'm glad to hear that they will be available, trying to catch one here and there on eBay is tough, not to mention that I'd rather see the money go to the family of the author.....

Below is a 1927 Buick, note the hood latch and louvers, headlights, and also the wheels....

The headlight buckets on both cars are the same too. good eye Abomb.

I am another one who read every on of those books I could get my hands on when I was a kid. I found them on the Kitsap county, Wa bookmobile if memory serves right.

Thank you so much! I am such a novice as far as cars go! I'm learning slowly! But ask me to write lesson plans for a lesson on dangling participles, and I'm a whiz!

This is going to be classless, plug your ears...I can't help myself

You probably shouldn't mention dangling participles and a whiz in the same sentence on this site...:D:D

    Well, that depends.

If you don't know where you are and you're out of gas, you're LOST.

If you don't know where you are but you still have gas, you're TOURING!:D
