Hi all, very long time since I haven't post

I build a roadster 1932 with the inspiration of the below photo I found, I'm looking for more info about that car... thanks

My project started with a 19324 doors sedan donor car, and 239 flathead, after driving a year I built a strong 304ci out of a french flathead bloc, 1939 transmission, original 2nd Gen 1932 rear axle with 3.25 ratio. Front axle remain std with flip over springs and hydrau brakes. Steering box is now a 1956 F100 unit. WhatsApp Image 2020-12-03 at 22.20.59 (1).jpeg

I image searched through Google. You might want to try that. It came up with some interesting stuff. Unfortunately none of that exact car.

The Getty Images photo was by J.R.Eyeman who was a photographer for Life magazine and who died in 1985, so you might be looking for information on a car that's not been seen for almost 40 years.

Lady Pirata delle Corse is Italian for Lady Pirate of the Races-is this a USA car?

I'd take the B&W photo of the rear of the car and try to blow up the deck lid printing and maybe try to get and track the license plate #.

In the photo of the car and crowd in front of the Gothic "church", there's writing on a building across the way, partly hidden by a conifer tree. I can't quite make it out, but it does not look like it is in English. Maybe it will help identify location, if you can enlarge it.

The black and white photo of the rear of the car is his car, isn't it?
