Well here it goes, I found a 32 5 window for sale here on the HAMB for 19.5k. I would have get rid of my 29 roadster and a 39 Stude coupe and borrow money just to be able to afford the 32. Both of my cars are project cars and so is the 32. Here are some pics of the cars. Should I keep what I have or get the 32?

Might take a while to sell a project right now.... might be easier and quicker to keep what you have!

I'd keep working on the '29 on '32 rails myself! I much prefer that to a deuce, but I might be the only one...

Only if you really want a 32 5w. A '29 roadster is a pretty damn cool car and I wouldn't think that you'd gain much by getting the 5w unless you really were set on it. Sure you could get more money for a '32 but everything costs more with a 32 as well so that needs to be taken into consideration.

How long have you had the 2 project cars? For me, 2 cars are better than one, so I always have 2 cars. If one is down, I still have something to cruise. You have to be realistic, would it be faster and easier to get one of the projects running? Having a roadster, especially the '29 on deuce rails and a g***er is the best of both worlds.

I have to say either one of your current projects would be what I'd stick with. I would walk past a deuce to look at the A or the Stude at a show or drag event.

Good choice, keep what you have. The Stud makes a wicked drag car. Don't see many. I'd take the roadster over the 32.

If you don't go for it,.. you can always tell the grand kiddies as they are all sitting around your rocking chair,...... "Yep kiddies,.. There was a time back in two thousand and twelve, I had a chance to buy a genuine 1932 Ford 5/W coupe,...... and didn't do it. I always think back to that time and regret it,.. cause another one never came my way"

If your good with telling that story,... stay with what you got. There is only one thing on earth that qualifies as a 1932 Ford 5 Window Coupe,.... And that is a 1932 Ford 5 Window Coupe.

Not to piss anyone off but, 32 Fords are just cars.....any body style. When I bought my 5 window I wasn't looking for it, I just more or less was in the wrong place at the right time to be able to buy it right. It didn't matter to me whether or not it was a 32 Ford. When one of my friends found out I had it, he said " I suppose you'll turn into one of THEM now, like Corvette freaks and Harley riders" He didn't know that in years past I had owned the "other" two and sold them to buy something I would rather have.

I am already wondering what I could trade the coupe for.....

I guess you can count me as one of THEM (And proud if it I might add),.... Always loved 32,33 and 34 Fords from the get go, and couldn't care less what other people think,.. I have no intentions of being ashamed of that fact, feeling like an elitist, or apologizing to anybody for them being my favorites,........

You either want one or you don't,... If you want one because you like them, and they really do it for you, that's cool,... If you want one only because it's the cool thing to have,.. you missed the entire idea already.

So,... what's wrong with Corvettes and Harleys ????

  20. WAIT.........WHAT........there are other cars than a 32 5W???? I had not noticed hahahahahhhaahaahha

  21. Ive just about completed a deal kinda similar.
Sold off my Model A, and brought a 29 Hudson. Its no 32, but it goes.:D
If its what you want, do it.

  22. is there a "32 haters " club seems alot of members posted on this thread

now it seems to me in a list of projects the one "I" would like to keep is the duece ..
you have some nice stuff in the existing pile to make it neat ... but being from minnesota open cars seem unusable for the most part

i did pay less for my stock sedan and 1/6th of your $ for my gl*** 32 3 window ?

I wouldn't give up the 29 roadster or the 39 Stude! They are both just as cool as a 32 5W to me. Plus you can make a choice of which one you want to drive that day, when you get them done. Two cool rides are better than one in my book.

There are a LOT of 32's as well as A's with a 32 grille shell. Even so I still like them in whatever shape or form they take.

But..... I can't help but prefer the '29 roadster....

However, building one car is much easier then two so in that way if you did want to simplify things, be the guy who has ONE awesome hot rod and drive the piss out of it!

I sometimes think how much easier my life would be with just one car. I wouldn't dream about building another garage, I'd have more money in the bank, and I would be close to driving the one I did have.

I really like 32 five windows and would love to have one but right now I wouldn't want to sell off two cool as hell project cars and go in debt for another project car even if it was a 32 five window. With the roadster and the Stude you have most of the bases covered. A nifty looking 29 on 32 rails that will be full as all get out and the Stude Coupe that can either take on a g***er profile or become a road burner that can comfortably make it to far off hot rod gatherings and events and still carry off the serious hot rod look.

It all really comes down to what "you" want, not what you think everyone else wants. To me, a '32 5 window is pretty cool, but, not the end
