Building a 42 gmc coe ,can't make up my mind on dash . I have the stock one in good shape . I also have 59 Chevy dash that I cut down to fit . Both look good but 59 takes up some of cab space . I will be cutting a large hole in back of cab for access to sleeper . Please leave your thoughts .

Also any one with gm 41/46 coe , need info on if windshield leaks . My 39 ford pu leaked like a rainstorm until I silled it ,miss the crank out .

I can't figure out how to put pict. on this site but photos are on my tread . THANKS Blue

  2. I like the 59 dash better than the original! Are you going to leave the sleeper full width or are you going to narrow it. On my Autocar, I made mine 8" wider than the cab on each side, (80" total) any more than that (in my opinion) starts to look like Dumbo the elephant.

The sleeper will be 7'wide the same as bed .The sleeper I have is 7'6" wide and 60" long . I will shorten to 7'x38" . On the dash ,if I use the 59 dash I will use 3 gage set up with the two outside gage holes for ac vents as well as the hole left in center .
