Customs need help on deciding what trim i should use thread.

i have a 1949 4door mercury that is currently all original...and i want to customize it starting with the trim.
the one trim i like now is the 1952-1953 buick trim...but im open to other ideas

please post pictures of your car with trim that you think would look good.

i personally dont like side trim, rather have the smooth clean look.
plus the 1952-1953 buick trim is well played out with mercurys.
