I own a old 78 Ford f150 and the speedometer is doing the normal go 80 when your doing 20. It needs lubercated. I've already used dry graphite and it does NOT WORK. does anyone know a liquid graphite lube I can use for the wheels of the speedometer?

The speedometer doesn't work, the outer wheel is meshing too much with the inner wheel. Needs a liquid graphite lube to help with some slippage...

Young man, I'm not the HAMB police, but do need to tell you that you're not in the right internet board... Search for Ford Truck Enthusiast ...I can't recall the www thing...but you'll fit right in there.

    Best of luck!

Here, https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/ There is a section for all Ford Truck year models there.
What Budget36 was referring to is that we have a pre 1965 Cut off year model thing here. The vehicle has to be 1964 year model or older or in a few rare cases have the exact same body style as a 64 or earlier. Your "old" truck is a new truck as far as this board is concerned. Actually it is a year newer than my "late model Off Topic" truck.
