I have found a set of decent bumper bars on the US eBay that i want to buy for my Lincoln.. Usual story seller wont sell or ship to anyone outside the 48..... So asking if anyone here knows of or is someone that would be able to help me out. Not stressed on time to get them.. so sea freight wouldnt be a problem due to size. Been covered before, but rather than message people who may not be interested ill put it again for people who can help. Thanks! Sent from my SM-G955F using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Having lived on both ends of Oz, I feel your pain. I have shipped stuff to Oz before, big enough that I had to use a freight forwarder. In order to help, I'd need much more info to give a proper squizz.
I'm confused! How big are they? I shipped Intake Manifold, Air Cleaner, Grilles, etc. to Australia via the good 'ole US Postal Service! First time I did it, I went online and it was a convoluted mess. So I walked in to my local Post Office, filled-out one form, and done! The Parts arrive in days!
Check with some of the Oz importers that advertise in the back pages of Cruzin magazine as they sometimes have stuff sent to their representatives in L.A. ..........remember that anything from the USA valued at over $1000.00 Oz will attract Oz GST on both the item AND freight so it behoves you get a low figure on the receipt, wherever it comes from..........lol.........did I say that?........andyd
I've got a friend in Tasmania that I have occasionally gathered & shipped parts to. It's god-awful expensive, but much cheaper than he'd have to pay per part from the vendor. Fed-Ex & UPS are two-3x more expensive than Priority Mail International, but they have a limit on length. You'll have to know the package size (length, width & height), as well as weight and a city they're going to, to get a quote. I started sending parts to my friend, as we communicated thru HAMB. I got the quote, he paid via PayPal and I shipped the parts. Took trust on both our parts, but it's worked out well.
