Projects Need Help to ID axle on my model a

    Can anybody help me figure out what axle or brakes I have on my 29 model a. I'm planing on getting started on it very soon.

    '40 brakes,spindles, '33-'36 axle

    Is there no difference between 33-36 axles? Is it a passenger car axle?

    '32 (heavier beam) and '33-6 axles all have same hole locations, interchange. You'll find minor differences in appearance, but I'm pretty certain those are just variations between different dies and plants and not date related.

    Looks like the spindles are 37 thur 40 ford, the backing plates are 39/40.
    if you have the same year rear backing plates, the front wheel clys. are larger than the rear.
