need help to id mopar transmission!!!

    I looked hard for a 65 727 I wanted cable shift for push ****ons and cross an roller U-joint 65 was the only year that happened.

    So it looks like 65 was the last year for a rear pump....904 and 727?

    I guess I'll rebuild my 73 904 instead...

    Just got a new DeLuxe TF-6 kit and a 2500 stall converter from TORCO...(made in USA)

    there were some games with the input shaft spline count, also, I seem to recall...that change was made around 1967-68? but it's been so long since I worked on this stuff! like 35 years

    Remember that it's 50 years old or so. There have been several sets of hands in there- possibly mine!
    The case number seems to indicate 1966 273- 318. It is only the case number and may have been changed several times internally.

    I have a 65 TF still in a Belvedere II. Cable shift on the column. My 65 Belvedere I is also the same. Lippy
