Can someone help me to id this column? I need to replace the bottom bearing but I have no idea what car it came from.

    Thanks.

That "webbing" part looks a lot like the one I pulled out of a '68 Charger this summer, so my guess is that it's Mopar. Is there an ignition switch on the column? That seems to be the big changeover between 1968 (key on dash) and 1969 (key on column to lock the steering). That would help narrow the year down. Also, is that a Hazard light switch? There was a specific year that those showed up on all cars too.

The wheel is not original to that column.

I'm thinking early 70's Mopar. I've had a car with that shift knob but it was either the 68 New Yorker or 69 Barracuda. I don't think Chrysler put the key in the column until 70 though.

Hodgepodge of who knows what. The wheel looks like my 68 ford trucks. the column looks like my 72 c body mopar, I dismantled.

Thanks for your help guys. Yes there has been an ignition switch on the column. The bottom shaft diameter is something like 19 mm. (3/4”) The only number I can find is 4245. Here’s a few more pics.
