Fix the building! It needs atic ventilation, and incoming vents on the eaves. I have found the whilybird brand of atic ventilator works really good. Not expensive either.

Right on, I save them from every box of shoes my wife buys, to put one in each drawer of of my tool box, I keep them in my gun cabinet...I work in a factory that gets stamped steel parts from all over the world, and they have huge packages of silica in the bins...They also got some new stuff I'll try to get the name I'm not sure if or where you can buy I've seen parts that were sitting in bins before I started there 6 years ago, still with no rust on them!

A vapor phase corrosion inhibitor (VpCI) will help prevent rusty tools inside a toolbox. In the old days, machinists would put a little lump of camphor in their toolbox, this stuff is the modern version and works on the same principle.

All corrosion involves dissmilar metals and some type of current. Saw a car that had mgnesium slugs bolted to the frame and they corroded instead of the frame. The magnet set up some sort of minor field like a generator.
